WILL WRITING
It is estimated that 50% of the adult population in England and Wales do not have a Will in place.
By preparing a Will, it makes matters much easier for your loved ones when you pass away.
If you pass away without making a Will, Government rules will set out how your assets will be divided. This may not be to the people you would choose and the process can be time consuming and stressful.

LASTING POWERS OF ATTORNEY
Lasting Powers of Attorney or LPAs are legal documents that allow a person to appoint one or more people to make decisions on their behalf.
You can appoint people to manage your finances or make decisions about your health and welfare, if you became unable to do so in the future.

As the Director of Caverley Lightfoot my aim is to provide a high quality, personal service at an affordable price.
After working for many years as a solicitor at a boutique law firm in London's Mayfair, I found one of the most satisfying elements of my work came from building strong relationships with my clients and working with them to reach their goals. Having grown up and always lived in the local area, I have set up Caverley Lightfoot to enable me to offer a city level of legal service, with a friendly and approachable manner.
I have enjoyed the challenge of Private Client work since I initially began my studies at university, since then and throughout my career I have specialised in this area of work. In 2016 I took this further and completed the necessary exams to become a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). I am an Accredited Lifetime Lawyer - one of the most qualified lawyers in the country, supporting vulnerable and older people.
Outside of the office I enjoy being involved in local events and I am a keen netball player, playing in two local teams.
